Foragers are the most important part of our business.  Our vision to create a situation where full time foraging is a viable profession.  Where your real world knowledge of what grows in your area will be valued.  You collect the food that keeps us going, and we help you make money in the woods. 

This is how it works…You collect whatever it is you know best, mushrooms, nettle, seaweed, and bring it to us.  We give you a cash payment upfront, and then at the end of the month, we give you another payment, together equaling 50% of our profit.  Prices of wild food vary widely throughout the season, but 50% is always a good price.

We accept forage from all land, but ask that you are conscientious of our customers health, so nothing from next to the road, or from polluted water.  We are in the process of organizing landowners from around the Bay Area to allow us to forage on their land.  When we do, we will have carpools to these spots, where you can forage to your hearts content.  Some kind of percentage payment will be worked out later, because the landowner needs to get something in return.
