the forage team

ForageSF was started by Iso Rabins in the fall of 2008. As “not only for profit” business, its purpose was originally supporting local foragers so that foraging could become a viable full time profession.

Since our start we've stuck to the mission of supporting the local food community through multiple projects: the Underground Market, the Wild Kitchen, and our new project, Forage Kitchen, a co-working space for food. We mean to grow the local food economy, by creating a community of support for small food businesses, and creating jobs with respect that help to push the food movement forward.
